Difficulty of sending signal

Today, we figured out that there are three important messages in "June Night".
First, what is marriage? 
Second, what is love? 
And the last, "what is learning?"
These messages are very important because these are what put us together as one. We want the audience to think about what marriage is, what love is, and what learning is, by making a society of June Night. Everything is aimed for that.

今日、"June Night"における３つの大切なメッセージを知りました。１つ目は、結婚とはなにか、２つ目は、愛とはなにか、３つめは、学ぶとはどういうことか。このメッセージは本当に大切なものです。なんでかっていうとこのメッセージがみんなをひとつにするからです。私たちは、観客に"June Night"を見て、愛について、結婚について、学ぶことについてほしい。全てのことをそのために行います。

I think these are such a wonderful message, but here is the question. Can the audience really get touched by those messages in their heart? Today, I, Masa, from cast section, is going to write how difficult sending signal is.

これは本当に素晴らしいメッセージだと思います。けれども果たして、このメッセージは観客の心に届くのでしょうか？ 今日はキャストセクションのMasaが伝えることの難しさについて、自分が感じていることを書かせていただきます。

Here is a profound question, "what's the meaning of making stage?" There are various attractive points about stage. And I think making stage and watching stage has different attractiveness. However, the stage without the audience and the audience without performers means nothing. It's like a conversation. Each factors are crucial. It is impossible to have a conversation by yourself.

いきなり、深い質問になりますが、みなさんは公演を行う意味ってなんだと思いますか。舞台には本当に様々な魅力があります。そして、僕は舞台をつくる側にとっての魅力と観る側にとっての魅力は違ったものであると思います。けれども、舞台というのは当たり前ですがつくる側、みる側、どちらか一方が欠けたら成立しません。まるで会話のようなものです。会話というのは一人で行うことはできません。

We are now experiencing all the great points of making a stage. Especially in MP, every single one of the member are experiencing them. The other members have already written about those points.
Then, how about the audience? What attracts the audience about the stage? Why does the audience come a long way to Saitama, pay money, make time, and watch our performance? What does it mean to the audience? 

つくる側の魅力は僕達は今現在進行形で体験していることでしょう。MPでは特にこのつくる側の魅力を全ての人に体験させてくれます。他のメンバーもたくさん、この魅力について書いてくれていますよね。
では、みる側の魅力はなんでしょうか。なぜ、観客はわざわざお金を払い、はるばる埼玉まで来て、時間をつくり、私たちの公演を見てくれるのでしょうか。観客にとって、公演を行う意味ってなんなんでしょうか。

Maybe the answers are depend on people. But I think people come to watch our performance to enjoy the world of "June Night", feeling something by watching it. In another way of saying it, what attracts the audience the most is getting into the world of "June night"

それは人によって違うかもしれません。けれども、僕は"June Night"という新しい世界を見て、何かを感じるために来てくれるのだと思っています。観てくれる人にとっての魅力は言い換えると"June Night"という新しい世界に入りこむことだと思うんです。

Therefore, the first question, "Can the audience really get touched by those messages in their heart?" can translated into the question,
"Can we invite the audience to the world of "June night?" 

つまり最初の質問の、「果たしてこのメッセージは観客の心に届くのでしょうか」という質問は「わたしたちは"June Night"という世界に観客を招くことができるだろうか」という意味でもあります。

We are creating the world of "June Night" spending almost 3 months. The audience is going to see this world in 2 hours of each performance. In this short two hours, EVERYTHING on the stage are going to send an information, "signal" to the audience. Movements and the lines of character, music, sound effects, costume, lighting, stage, literally everything. The audience will know the world of "June Night" which we will have spent almost 3 months and made by receiving those signals.

私たちは"June Night"という世界を3ヶ月という時間をかけて、研究します。深めます。その世界を観客は2時間という短い時間で味わいます。キャストの表情、動き、台詞、音楽、衣装、照明、舞台装置、短い時間の中で舞台上の全てのものが観客に、"June Night"という世界について、情報を、シグナルを発信します。こうしたシグナルを通して私たちが3ヶ月かけて作り上げた"June Night"が観客に届くわけです。

However, what's gonna happen if the audience could not receive the signal. Obviously they can not enjoy "June Night". They can not get into the play. And for us, it is harder to send signal, because our play is in English. This performance is in English spoken by Japanese. How difficult it is.

 けれども、もしそのシグナルが受け取ってもらえなかったら、理解してもらえなかったら、どうでしょうか。お客さんは当然"June Night"という世界を味わうことができません。そのシグナルを送る際に、とても厄介なことが私たちの舞台にはありますよね。それは私たちの舞台が「英語劇」であるということです。日本語の劇ですら、シグナルが正しく伝わらないことが多くあります。それを私たち日本人が英語で行う。どれほど難しいことでしょう。

But even though it is very difficult, there is a special meaning to perform in English. The performance in English can describe something that can not expressed through Japanese. So, I believe that when all the signal are understood by the audience, the performance will definitely touch the audience's heart. They will start thinking of "love", "marriage", and "learning". And even if it did not happen, something will remain in the heart of the audience. 

しかし、そうした難しさを考慮しても、英語劇というのは本当に魅力的なんです。日本語の劇では表現できないものが表現できると思うんです。だからこそ、全てのシグナルがお客さんに伝わったらきっと観客の心は絶対動きます。何かしら考えずにいられないと思います。愛について、結婚について、学ぶことについて。もし、これらのことを考えなくても、何かしら観客の心には残るでしょう。 

My goal in MP is "making a great stage". Great stage means, a stage which can invite the audience to the world of "June night". That is really difficult. Even one mistake can not be made because it will draw the audience's heart away from the world of "June Night". The heart of audience can be away so easily.

僕のMPでの目標は、「素晴らしい舞台をつくること」です。素晴らしい舞台とは、観客を"June Night"という世界に招き、入り込ませることができるような舞台です。本当にそれは難しいです。だって１つのミスもゆるされないのですから。１つのミスが、観客を現実の世界に戻してしまいます。たった1人の英語が伝わらなかっただけで、観客の心は簡単に離れてしまいます。

That's why I want to challenge all the MP13 members, including myself.
Do not take it easy about sending signal. The signal MUST be received by the audience. Just sending signal to the audience is not appropriate, it must be understood by the audience. In order to send such a signal, third person's perspective is essential.
Staff members, please help all the casts. Please always care if they are sending signal that can be understood by the audience.

だから、このような場ではありますが、自分を含めて改めてMP１３のみんなにチャレンジさせてください。絶対シグナルを送ることについて妥協しないでください。シグナルというのはお客さんにむけて発信するものです。自分が気持ちよく発信できればいい、というものではありません。第3者の目が不可欠です。スタッフのみなさん。どうかキャストを助けてください。正しくシグナルが発信できているかどうか、常に見ていてください。

I'm eager to make "great stage" with this members. I want to make the stage that leaves something in the heart of audience. I don't want this end with just a good memory. I want audience to feel something from bottom of their heart by watching this "June Night."

僕はみんなと本当に「素晴らしい舞台」をつくりたい。観客の心に残る何かをつくりたい。思い出だけで終わりたくない。この"June Night"から、何かが生まれて欲しい。

私たちはこのセクションを「せっぷろ」と略して呼んでいます：）♪
私たちせっぷろメンバーが今日したことを皆さんにお伝えしたいと思います。

Today, before we read the script together, We shared our goals in MP.
"to have confidence"  "to challenge everything" "to improve English skill" Everyone has their own goals.

今日は、脚本を皆で一緒に読む前に、MPでの目標を皆で話しました。
「自信を持てるようになること」「何事にも挑戦すること」「英語の上達」
など皆がそれぞれの目標を持っていました。


These days, we read and read and read the script. It is very important to make setting&property. We create our imagination from the script. However, it is very difficult to understand the script written in English and read between the lines.

ここ数日、私たちはずっと脚本を読みすすめていました。セットや小道具を作るうえでこれはとても大事なことです。脚本から私たちはイメージを造りあげていきます。しかし、英語の脚本を理解すること、その行間を読むことは本当に難しいことです。

To share our goals remind us "why we jumped in MP?"
We could remember our original purpose.
それぞれの目標を話し合うことは私たちに「なぜMPに参加することにしたのか？」ということを思い出させてくれました。
初心を思い起こすことができたのです。

Then we could discuss about it deeply.
そして私たちは、深く脚本について意見を交わすことが出来ました。

In Every rehearsal, I learn new things.
毎回リハーサルで、私は新しいことを学びます。

I am really crazy about Musical, that is why I jumped in MP.
私は本当にミュージカルが大好きで、だからMPに参加しました。

I would like to create the musical which makes our audience enjoyable. I would like to express massages of June night to the audience.
That is a GREAT STAGE for me.
私は見に来てくださる皆さんを楽しませることができるようなミュージカルを造りたい 。"June Night"のメッセージを皆さんに伝えたい。それが私にとって「最高のステージ」です。

I give all of myself in MP to make a GREAT STAGE.
最高のステージを造る為に、私は私のすべてをMPに懸けます。

I want to keep this in my mind, and continue growing with my dearest MP members.
私はこの気持ちをずっと胸に、大大大好きなMPメンバーたちと成長し続けたいです。

Share & The time we are alive is very precious.

Hi. I'm Misae, a member of Lighting section. As other members wrote, now we separate section by section. I'm a first Lighting section person who writes this blog, so I want to talk about our section.

おはようございます？こんにちは？こんばんは？ lightingセクションのMisaeです。 他のメンバーが書いたように、今セクションごとに分かれて活動してます。 このブログでは私がlighting メンバーではお初なので、lightingについて話したいと思います:)

Lighting has Many pattern, of course uses loooots of colors. At the first day we separated our chief Mine gave us a pen light and Lighting design & systems. It's sooo fun! When we were given it, we talked about what color is the best for members! Maybe When other sections looked at us, they thought we were funny. 

Lightingは多くのパターン、そしてもちろんのこと、たくさんの色を使います！セクションごとに分かれた最初の日、我らがチーフMineがペンライトとカラーフィルター見本帳をくれたんです！これ、めっちゃ面白いの。 もらった時に「誰は何色が合うか」を話し合ったり(笑)きっと他のセクションから見れば面白かったんだろうな～

And our section started a special thing "share what made you happy or glad". (sorry i don't have enouh vocabulary.....it's the best for me..) everyday we share the members' feeling. I think it is important to make good relationship. The story is ok both long or short, small or big, whichever you want to talk. 

そして！特別なこと？を始めました！「昨日幸せ、嬉しかったことをシェアしようぜ☆」です。(ボキャ貧だからなんかかっこ悪いですが、これが私の最善です) 毎日メンバーの気持ちをシェア！話は長かろうが短かろうが、小さいことでも大きなことでも好きなだけ！ いい友好関係作るのに大事だと思うんだ。

I think "share" is not just saying. The speaker tries to tell, and listeners try to know and understand. 

私的に"share"つてのはただただ言うだけじゃないと思うんだ。話す側は「伝える」、聞く側は「知って理解する」ことだと思うの。

By the way, do you remember the day March 11th? We have to remember and never forget the day. 

ところで。3月11日という日を覚えてますか？私たちはこの日を覚えてなきゃだし、絶対に忘れちゃいけないと思うの。

We pray for a while and share a big topic that what did you experience and how did you feel two years ago. Lots of members including me were crying at that time. 

黙祷して、二年前に経験したこと、感じたことっていうとても大きなトピックをメンバー全員でシェアしました。私を含め、多くのメンバーが涙ボロボロでした。

I felt we have to keep in mind that "the time we alive now is very precious.(by Nao)" 

私たちはNaoが言った「今生きている時間がかけがえのないものだ」っていう言葉を心に留めておかなきゃいけないと思うの。

Though it is a private affair, I can be more cheerful.
It's because now I can live! spend a precious time with MP members.
How great is it? and from now on I'll continue doing my best with that feeling. 

私事だけど、自分はもっと元気いっぱい？明るく？いれると思うの。だって、今生きてる。MPメンバーとこのかけがえのない時間を過ごせる。 なんて素敵なことなの？ 今から、この気持ちを胸に、自分のベストを尽くして行きます！

Ma&C activated!

Hello Everyone.

My name is Naru, and I am a member of the section Make-up and Costume..

Today, we did some activities separated from other section. That is because we went to meet Misato-san's studio for a sewing working shop.

It was sad for us that we couldn't share our time with other sections but we've learnt a lot.

こんにちわ。私はメイコスのメンバーの一人のなるです。

今日私たちは他のセクションとは違う場所で作業をしました。なぜなら今日はメイコスで衣装づくりのワークショップのためにみさとさんのアトリエにお邪魔したからです。

他のセクションと一緒」にいれなかったのは寂しかったですが色々なことを学べました。

What we did was making aprons.

Through it we learnt some basic things about sewing such as how we cut the cloth, how to use all the machines and stuff.

We got to decide our designs by ourselves. it was fun looking at other's designs because they showed each other's originality.

私たちがしたことはエプロンづくりです。

エプロンづくりを通して私たちは縫い物に関する基礎的なことを学びました。例としては裁断の仕方やミシンなどの機械の使い方などです！

エプロンのデザインは個人個人で考えることができてそれぞれの個性がよく表れていたので見ていて楽しかったです。

Misato-san and heads members taught us many things, but what Misato-san said was a great tip for us I guess.

She told us our bad ways of sewing. And she told us that those bad ways might become a bad habit of our's.

みさとさんとヘッズのみんなが私たちメイコスに色々教えてくれました。けれどどの中でもみさとさんの言葉はためになったと思います。

彼女は私たちに悪い癖になりそうなところを教えてくれました。

I also had some bad habit of pulling cloth while sewing with the machine.

I am very a clumsy person so I think her words would help me improve my sewing skill.

私もミシンで縫っている間布をひっぱてしまう癖がありました。

もともと不器用な人間なので彼女の言葉は上達の助けになると思います。

I would like to remember her words and try our best to make great costumes for casts.

We will going to make every single one of casts shine on the stage with our greatest effort!!

彼女の言葉を胸にキャストのためにすてきな衣装を作りたいです。

キャストの一人一人がステージで輝けるように精いっぱいの努力で頑張ります！

Tohoku Spirit!!

8 months ago, I met MP－Here we are－ for the first time. Then, I was really surprised the MP world and even now I can remember it clearly. I couldn't catch English(now also I can't) but there was one thing I felt. There was Grover's Corners－the different world. 
At that time, I lived Tokyo just one month and didn't have the knowledge, so I didn't think about stage, MP of big world is even more beyond me.

8ヶ月前、初めてMP－Here we are－と出会った。その時、MPが魅せる世界に唖然としたのを今でもはっきりと覚えている。英語もまるでわからなかったが(今もそーだけど)、ただ一つ感じたことは、日本とは違う、全く別の世界、Grover's Cornersが間違いなくそこにあったということだった。当時東京に来たばかりで右も左も分からなかった自分には、舞台をやることはもちろん、ましてMPという大きな世界の中に入るなんて夢にも思っていなかったことだった。


I belong to sound section. When I listened to what Mittsu said, I thought three things(This is not joke). 
Firstly, this section has heavy responsibility. 
Secondly, it need to communicate and respect other sections. 
Lastly, we are indispensable persons to success this section. 
I think it is very difficult to do perfectly. But that's the very reason why I try to do it. I believe I can get important things in the future.

自分の所属するセクションはサウンドセクション。ミッツの説明を聞いて率直に思ったことが３つあった(ダジャレではない)。それは、重い責任がこのセクションに課せられていること。コミュニケーションをとり、お互いを尊重する必要があること。そして、誰一人欠けてもセクションが成立しないこと。全てを完璧にこなすのは本当に難しい。でも、だからこそ、やろうと思った。その先に見えてくるものがあると信じて。


My goal at Jrh is enjoying everything. Could I do? I tried doing with all my best......
There are many things I learned at Jrh. The difficulty to communicate. The joy that we can share even minor things. The environment we can do with all our best. Only 13 times but I could know how precious this time was and how precious next Rh time is......

Jrhではとにかくすべてを楽しむことを目標にしていた。どうだっただろうか。全力を尽くしてやってみたつもりだったけど......
Jrhを通して感じたものは少なくない。コミュニケーションの難しさ、小さなことでも誰かとシェア出来る喜び、全力で何かに取り組める環境。たった13回。だけど、本当に思った。この時間がどれだけかけがえのないものであったか。そして、これから始まるRhがどれだけ貴重なものなのか......


Maybe you WILL have many thoughts and experience many things. We will be happy to achieve something and we will be disappointed because we can't do something. Now, I really enjoy this section but I will face difficult situations certainly. I often feel my poor English skill and I want to speak wall like other members. But I think this moment is the important step to go up. The wall we must get over.

みんないろいろな思いがあるはず。そしていろいろな経験をするはず。何かを達成できた嬉しさ、思い通りにいかないもどかしさ。今、このセクションを心から楽しみにしているけれど、きっとどこかでつまずく瞬間がある。俺は英語が下手だしもっとみんなみたいにうまく話せたらいいのにって思うときもよくある。でもその瞬間は自分がもう一つ上に進むための重要なステップ。必ず越えなければならない壁。


So, I run with all my best.
Never lose heart.
If I lose, please give me punch or anything.

だから、全力で走ることにします。
もうくじけません。
もしへこたれた時は、グーパンチでもなんでもくれ。

This is personal thing. I pass two years from the day－my life changed totally. I lost my home, friend, many things. But there were things I could get in this torment.

個人的な事になりますが、僕の人生が大きく変わったあの日からもう二年が経とうとしています。家を失い、友人を失い、多くのものを失いました。ですが、その苦しみの中でも得られたものもありました。

The feeling that I can live this moment.
The endless effort of people to aim revival
The pride of Tohoku where I was born......

自分がいまここに生きているという実感
復興を目指す人々の果てしない努力
生まれ故郷である東北への誇り......


Now, do I enjoy more than that time?


僕は今、あの頃より楽しんでいますか？


Am I persistent?


頑張っていますか？


Do I live with confidence?


自分に自信を持って生きていますか？


Including English, there are many things to learn.
Let's enjoy, do with all my best and live the best time!!! I try too!!!


英語も含め、まだまだMPで学ぶべきものは多いです。
これからも、全力で、楽しんで、青春していきましょう！！俺も頑張る！！

Miracle and destiny

Hello, everyone!
My name is Kaho Shinogi.Please call me Kaho. I'm in sound section.
I'm a student of Musashi University.

みなさんこんにちは！
私の名前は篠木香穂といいます。Kahoと呼んでください。
MP13ではサウンドセクションに所属しています。
武蔵大学に通ってます。


From yesterday, we finally separated each section.
I think it was a little bit sad, because I wanted to be with every member.
However, I was also happy to start working as a sound section.
I felt that I should make more and more efforts with members to make the great stage.
That's why my feeling was complicated yesterday, maybe there are some members like me.

ジョイントリハーサルも終わり、ついに昨日からはセクションごとに分かれての活動が始まりました。それは私にとっては少し悲しいことでもあったんです、なぜなら私はいつもみんなと一緒にいたくてしょうがない気持ちでいたから。
でも、同時にサウンドセクションとしての活動が始まることにも幸せを感じていました。
これからは仲間と共に素晴らしいステージのためにもっと努力しようと思っていたし、
そんなわけで私の気持ちは複雑でした。たぶんそういう気持ちのメンバーもいたのではないのかなあ。


After separating each section, we tried to read script and understand each scene through discussion.
This is so difficult, and sometimes it is really hard, but it is also really important to MP.
Even if everyone has a same script, same line, there are many ways to think about the meaning.
It is very interesting, isn't it?

セクションごとに分かれてからは、私たちはスクリプトを読んで、ディスカッションをしつつ
内容を理解しようとしていました。
これはとても大変なことであるし、ときどきとても負担に感じることもあります、だけどこれこそが
MPにとってはとても大事なことでもあるんです。
私たちは全く同じスクリプトを持っていて、セリフももちろん全部同じなのに、
それぞれのセリフにはいくつもの意味の考え方があるんです。
それってとても面白いことではないですか？

Through this activity, I found new discoveries about the script, so I was so happy to know that.

今日の活動を通して私はたくさん台本の中で新しい発見をしました。それはとても嬉しかったです。


Like this, MP is growing up everyday little by little.

こうやってMPは毎日少しずつ前進していってるんだと思います。

Please let me tell you about the "miracle and destiny" today.

今日は少しだけ、私に「奇跡と運命」についての話をさせてください。


As some members already know that my parents and our director Hisashi have known each other.
Without him, maybe I wasn't born and I'm not here.
I can't tell you about this in detail, but it is the truth.
Do you think it is miracle?

何人かのメンバーは既に知っている通り、私の両親と私たちのディレクターであるひさしさんは
知り合いであり、深いつながりがあるんです。
彼がいなければ、おそらく私は生まれていないだろうし、きっとここにはいない。
詳しく話すと長くなるのでできませんが、これは真実なんです。
奇跡だと思いませんか？


When I joined MP13, I thought that it was miracle.
But when I told one member about this thing, she said like this.
"Even though Kaho chose MP13, it is like miracle, but  it is also destiny."
When I heard this word, I was so impressed.Because I didn't think that it was destiny.

私がMP13に入ってそれを知った時、もうこれは奇跡だと思っていました。
でもこの話をあるMPのﾒﾝﾊﾞｰに話した時、彼女はこう言ったんです。
「MP13を選んだのはKaho自身かもしれない、それは奇跡かもしれないけど、でもそれは
運命でもあったんだと思うよ。」
この言葉を聞いたとき、すごく感動しました。運命だとは思っていなかったから。


So what I want to say is that there is no difference about the meaning between miracle and destiny even if it seems like big difference.
The fact that I could meet MP13 members is a miracle, but it is also a destiny.
If we think this way, I think that everything is miracle and destiny.
That's why I really love MP, so happy to be a member of MP13.

何が言いたいのかというと、「奇跡」と「運命」って言葉の意味にはそんなに違いはない気がするんです。
私がMP13のみんなと出会えたことは奇跡です、でもそれは同時に運命として決まっていたんじゃないかって。
こういう風に考えた時、私はすべてのことは奇跡と運命から出来てるんじゃないかなって思います。
だからこそ私はMPが大好きだし、MP13のﾒﾝﾊﾞｰになれて幸せです。


MP was my dream.
I could make my dream come true.
I want to give dreams to the all audiences through our performance.
Because I want everyone to know about that.
Though it is just my opinion. haha

MPは私の夢でした。
その夢を叶えることができました。
だから私たちのパフォーマンスを通して、お客さんにも夢を与えたいんです。
なぜならみなさんにこのことについて知ってほしいから。
私の単なる１つの意見なんですけどね。（笑)

こんにちは、4月から上智大学の3年になる増田彩女です。セクションはセッティング＆プロパティーです。


Yesterday was last JRh!!! I don't believe that. The more enjoyable time goes so fast, doesn't it? 

昨日はジョイントリハーサル最終日でした!!! 信じられない!楽しければ楽しいほど時が経つのってはやいよね。


The JRh's place was very very small and we had to be quiet yesterday. 
It wasn't suitable for last JRh but I thought a little that I'm lucky :) 
Because of we can understand & talk about the script !!! It takes all time for that. 

昨日のJRhの場所はすっごく狭くて、しかも静かにしなくてはいけなくて…あまりラストJRhの場所にはふさわしくなかったかも知れないけど私にとってはちょっとラッキー！何でかって？今日のJRhの時間全部を使って台本を理解したり、それについてみんなと意見を交換できるから!!!


It is so difficult to understand the script. But we got advice, so try that!!! 
First we read the sentence and check the word and meaning which I don't know and understand. 
Second we search or ask about that. 
And third we read again and again! 
Through the three steps, we can find a lot of information about character, background and so on. It is important for us to make a musical. 

台本を理解するのはほんとうに難しい。でもアドバイスをもらったから、実践しなきゃ！それはまず始めに、セリフを読んで知らない単語や意味がわからないところをチェック。次に、それを調べたり、聞いたりする。そして、何度も何度も繰り返し読むこと。これをすることによって、登場人物のキャラや背景についてたくさんの情報を見つけられるんだ！これって舞台を作るのに本当に重要なことだね！

Then we learned another things yesterday…that’s accepting. If you disagree with a partner, what would you do? Do you get angry? Do you want to oppose? But it is important for us to accept. We know that, but we can’t often accept.　
In such cases please count for ten seconds in your heart! 1,2,3,…10! 
So you can say your opinion with keeping your head. Let’s accept in Rh. Oh yes, we try to accept any time! 

それからもう1つ昨日学んだこと…それは、受け入れること。もし、相手と意見が合わなかったら、あなたならどうする？おこる？すぐ反対する？そう、重要なのは受け入れること。わかっていてもなかなかできないことですね。そんなときは10秒間心の中で数えてみて！１，２，３、…１０！そうしたらきっと落ち着いて自分の意見も言えるはず。今後のリハーサルでも、おたがいに意識していかなきゃね！いや、いつでもだね！


I want to write a little about myself. I’m not good at English. So I can’t understand many things. 
But…everyone always help my English. So MP is fun!!! Thank you everyone!!! 
I think giving troubles are not bad things. Nobody give trouble in the world! It is important to not remain giving trouble. I want to help twice as much as everyone help. 
Now my goal is “take & give & give!” 

ここでちょっとだけ、自分のことも書かせてください。私は英語がそんなにうまくなくて、理解できてないことがたくさん…だけど、そんなときは周りのみんながいつだって教えてくれます。だから、すっごくMPは楽しい!!!本当に毎日感謝してるよ!!! 私は迷惑かけることは悪いことじゃないと思っています。迷惑かけない人なんてこの世にいないと思うから！ただ大切なことは迷惑かけっぱなしにしないこと！私は迷惑かけたり、助けてもらったりしたら、その二倍みんなを助けてあげたい！だから私の今の一つの目標はtake & give & give!!!

I'll be sophomore from this April and my section is cast. I have never done this kind of activity before but I'll do my best!!!

On 3/7, we heard the announcement of castings and we did "welcome party" after the rehearsal!

みなさんこんにちは！私はニーナです。

私は今年の４月から大学二年生になり、セクションはキャストです。私はこのような活動に参加するのは初めてですが、ベストを尽くしてがんばりたいと思います！！！

３月７日私達はキャスティングの発表を聞き、リハーサルの後にはパーティーをしました！

well, speaking of the party after the rehearsal, It was very fuuunn!!!

And, also I was surprised at the fact that every one was speaking in Japanese!!

It was soo wired...haha.

If you are not MP members, you may think it is not wired but...it is!

You will definitely understand the strange feeling if you join MP!

パーティーのことについて言うと、それはそれは楽しかったです！！！

そして私はみんなが日本語を話しているということに驚きました！！とてもおかしかった（笑）

もしあなたがMPメンバーでなければ、おかしくなんてないと思うかもしれないですが、不思議なんです！

もしMPに参加すればその不思議な感じを必ず理解できると思います！

Through this party I think I could know better of the others, but it is not enough at all, so let's get to know each other more!!!

このパーティーを通してみんなのことをまた一段と知れたと思います！でも、まだまだ知り足りていないので、もっとお互いのことを知り合いましょう！！！

Our stage advisor,Hideo Ozeki came and gave a speech for us today.

From his speech, I recognized that the stage is made by the all section once again!

I am verrry happy to be able to join MP13!!!

Every rehearsal day is so much fun and priceless for me!!

私達のステージアドバイザーである小関英勇さんが今日お話をしにきてくれました！

そのお話から改めてすべてのセクションによってステージが作られていることを考えさせられました！

私はMP13に参加できてとても幸せです！！！

私達にとって毎回のリハーサル日はとても楽しく、かけがえのないものです！！

Oops! Not to forget, last but not least, we had Welcome Party! It was just awesome and crazzzy with Japanese flying all over the place!!

Hello! My name is Takuya Wada! Please call me Wada-chan or Chan-wada!! But actually... whatever is fine.

From April I'll be sophomore and my section is make up and costume. I have never experience to make clothes. But I'll do the effort and do my best. So please cheer me up!

４月から大学２年生になりますよ。それから僕のセクションはメイコスでげす。衣装を作った経験なんて無いんですけど、努力、そしてベストを尽くそうと思ってるんで、どうか！どうか応援の程よろしくお願いしますね。


Firstly I wanna say one thing. My vocabulary of Engilish is sooooo poor!!! So if you find my mistake in this blog please be kind. I say again. Please be kind.

最初に１つ言いたいことがあります。僕の英語の語法は陳腐です。やばいです。なのでもしこのブログでミスを見つけても大目に見てくださいね。もっかい言いますよ。大目に見てくださいね。

BTW today our AD, Koji said to us a really serious thing during attendance. He said there are so many people who are late for rehearsal and forget to gathering time.

Sometimes I also arrive at rehearsal place just in time. It is not good I think... maybe you think so too.

And Koji also said once think about <Be punctual's meaning and its importance>

So I begin to think and do it. I hope everyone also do. This is really really important thing not only MP but also our life.

Of course, I'm careful too!

ところで今日僕たちのADの「こじ」がすごく重要な事を言いました。まず、リハに遅刻して来る人や集合時間のことを忘れてる人が沢山いるよねって。
僕も時々リハ場にギリギリに着くときがあるんです。それってよくないと思いますよね。
それにこうも言ってました、一度〔時間を守ることの意味と大切さ〕をちゃんと考えてほしいって。
だから僕は考えます。そして実行します。皆にもやってほしいな。これってMPだけじゃなくて自分達の人生でも本当に本当に大切なことだと思うので・・・。
僕ももちろん気をつけますがな！！！


Sorry to say a strict thing. So from now I'll talk about what I feel MP is fun.

Before starting MP, I was so lazy especially during winter vacation. Every day I played TV game, sleep, game, sleep, game, sleep....

That term is so boring. But now I'm really really happy and feel fun!!! In the MP, there are so many people who are kind, funny, passionate, speaking Engliish very well...

I'm glad to meet them. They give me much precious things. Sorry to say fast. But I wanna make great stage with everyone!!! I hope.

...I notice now that I say so embarrassed things. English is useful if people wanna say people's straight feeling. HAHAHA.


何か生意気にも厳しいようなことを言ったりしてすんません。なのでこっからは僕がMPを楽しいと感じてることについて話そう・・・かね！
MPが始まる前、僕はそれはそれは怠惰な生活をしていました。特に冬休みはひどい・・・。来る日も来る日もゲーム、寝る、ゲーム、寝る、ゲーム、寝る・・・
あの冬休みは本当に退屈でしたよ、ええ！こんちきしょう！でも今はすっごく幸せで楽しいです！！！MPには沢山の人がいて、優しかったり、おもしろかったり、情熱的だったり、英語ペラペーラの人もいたり・・・
MPのメンバーに出会えて良かった。皆は沢山のかけがえないのないものをくれます。これ言うの早いですよね、すんません（笑）でも皆と最高のステージを作りたい！！！そう願ってますよ。

・・・今気付いたけど、中々こっぱずかしいこと言っちまったぜ、てやんでぃ。英語って自分のストレートな気持ち言いたい時に便利だよね。ははっ（笑）


Anyway next JRH is last. But this is a start not the end! Let's do our best!!

セクションはキャストです。今日から色んな人がブログを書いていきます。

The Winter Performance is over in Hosei University and three months passed.

I'm proud that I can join big stage called MP again.Do you get a tired? Please read till the last.

法政大学の冬公演が終わり三ヶ月が経ちましたが、MPという再び大きな舞台に携われることを誇りに思います。僕の文章は退屈ですか？最後まで読んでください。

Here, I want to talk about only what I obtained by Winter performance . I got various things …

After all the biggest thing is what I felt in everyday life, for example...from sleeping at night to getting up in the morning ,every moment is so important material for me.Yeah...

Do you get a tired? Please read till the last.

ここでは、冬公演で得たことを少しだけ話したいと思います。得たことは様々あるんですがねぇ…やはり1番大きいことは、毎日の生活、朝起きてから夜寝るまでの一瞬一瞬が貴重な材料だと感じたことです。文章がつまらないですか？最後まで読んでください。

It is not at all KIREIGOTO(Sorry...but I don't know the word) and is abstract expression, but is surely important for me. Even if, on the stage, I don't expect by myself, I cannot but be conscious of movement of all my action, situation, the expression of the partner…etc.

My sentences are dull. Please read only a little more.

決してキレイゴトではなく、抽象的な表現ではありますが、確かに僕にとって大事なことです。舞台の上では、自ら望んでなくても自分の全ての動作、行動、シチュエーション、相手の表情…などなど意識せざるを得なくなると思うんです。文章つまらないですね。もうちょっとだけ読んでください。

Then, things that help me are discovering in everyday daily life, and things helping oneself is how various then. And how do myself feel it when I discovered it,and receiving it obediently.

These things help me understand myself well and I can increase one's drawers.

Do you get a tired,right? it is over already soon.

その時、自分を助けてくれる物は、毎日の日常でどれだけ色んなことを発見しているということ。そして、発見した時に自分はどう感じているかということ。それを素直に受け入れているということ。などなどです…。とにかくそれら全てが自分を良く理解することを助け、自分の引き出しを増やしてくれるんだと思います。つまらないですかね、僕の文章？もうそろそろ終わりますから。

Therefore, every moment is important materials for me!

It is my one opinion. It is study every day. The truth.

Oh...It was good!! It is already over.

だから、毎日一瞬一瞬が貴重な材料だと言うわけです。僕の一意見ではありますが。毎日勉強です。本当。

良かったですね。もう終わりますよ。

Oops...we have only two months!

I think that it does not run out to learn.

I think that it is No limit to discover.

I will be careful with every moment.

As for the time, it is limited!

People may look me I am not the motivated man ,but I'm really the motivated man! and have a mind to do it every day.

I do my best by my slogan of "No Discover, No Rh" for a while.

早いですが、残り二ヶ月！学ぶことは尽きないと思ってます。発見することは限りないと思ってます。一瞬一瞬を大事にして行きましょう！時間は有限です！僕も毎日やる気ないようにみえてやる気マンマンです。しばらくは僕は「No Discover ,No Rh」のスローガンで勝手に頑張ります。

March 2nd Rehearsal

I'm an assistant director of MP13.

Let me talk about 3/2's rehearsal. 
こんにちわ。MP13のアシスタントディレクターのろこです。

今日は3/2のリハーサルについて話します。

This day was special than the other Rehearsal.

We went to watch Monmochi Performance!

Also Monmochi people allowed us to go on a backstage tour.

We could stand on the real stage, take a look at their costumes too.

It was a rare opportunity for us to learn about the real stage.

For some members, it was their first time to watch musicals and to stand on the stage. 
この日は特別な練習日でした！

もんもちのパフォーマンスをメンバーと共に見に行きました。

パフォーマンスだけではなく、今回は特別に舞台、舞台裏、衣装もみせていただきました。

一部のメンバーにとっては本物の舞台に立つ初めての機会でした！

Monmochi's performance was a heartwarming story.

It was great opportunity to spend time with members besides the rehearsal.

もんもちの舞台はとても心温まるお話でした。 メンバーとリハーサル以外の時間を楽しく過ごすことができてとても幸せでした。

After Monmochi, we had rehearsal.

This day we did ping-pong game.

It is really hard to "see" the imaginary ball while we are doing ping-pong.

もんもちをみた後、リハーサルがありました。 >この日はピンポンゲームというのをしました。 目に見えないボールを感じることが本当に難しいゲームです。 このゲームでコミュニケーションの難しさを痛感しました！！

Also, we had tongue twister game.

I was happy that every team cooperated and had fun in the game^^ 
また、早口言葉ゲームをしました。 全てのチームが協力して本気で競いあい楽しんでいるようで嬉しかったです。

In Talk & Listen time, we had a lesson too.

Every day, we learn new things from our director Hisashi.

But not only from the director, sometimes we find "a lesson" while we are learning the scene.
トーク＆リッスンの時間では毎回ディレクターのひさしさんから新しいことを学びます。

時には、シーンの練習をしている時に新しい発見をすることもあります。

Every one's way of "talking" and "listening" is different.

This makes me feel that I cannot help but love doing this kind of activities.
ひとりひとりの話し方、聴き方は異なります。

だから面白いんです!!

Anyway, one of this day's lesson was "Think of the reason!" 

There are always reason behind the lines. 

今日のレッスンの一つは「理由を考える！」でした。

台詞には必ず理由があるのです。ふふふ。

It's been several days past since we've started Joint Rehearsal,
and I am having soooooo much fun,
and I'm so glad that it seems like everyone is having too!
We are learning many new things everyday and
trying different kinds of activities to get to know each other and MP!
Today, let me introduce one of the most important spirit of MP.
That is what we call "Talk and Listen"!!!

さてさて、ジョイントリハーサルが始まって、もう数日が経ちました。
私は毎日がすっっっごく楽しくて仕方ないです！
他の皆もすごくMPをエンジョイしてくれているようで、とても嬉しいです！
毎日新しいことを学び、
いろんなアクティビティを通してみんなと、そしてMPのことを知ることが出来ています！
今日は、そんなMPの大事な精神の一つをご紹介したいと思います！！
その名も、”トーク＆リッスン”！！！

It is introduced by our MP founder, Mr. Richard A. Via.
Basically, all we have to do is just LISTEN others and respond them!
Buuuuuuuut it is not as simply and easy as it sounds.
It is really deep, inspiring and interesting.
Actually, I don't even know if I can explain it fully with words.
Talk and Listen, sometimes there is no way to explain it by words.
I feel there is something goes beyond that.

トーク＆リッスンはMPの創設者、リチャード・Ａ・ヴァイヤさんによって紹介されました。
基本的に、私たちがすることは相手の声に耳を傾けること、そしてそれに反応すること！！
でもでもでもでもでも！そんなに言うほど単純明快ではないんです！
とても深い！刺激的！そして面白い！
正直、私自身どう言葉にしていいのか分かりません！！
トーク＆リッスンは時には言葉で表せないんです。
言葉を超える何かがある気がします。

However, the important thing is that we try every single things that we could possibly think of.
The other day, at the Joint Rehearsal, I saw many members are trying their best to do Talk and Listen,
and it was really amazing to see!
As our director Hisashi always says, "there'll be an interesting chemistry if you really listen to each other."

しかし、私はそれでも考えられる全てのことに全力で挑むことが一番大切だと思います。
先日のジョイント・リハーサルで、私はたくさんのメンバーが一生懸命トーク＆リッスンに挑戦していました。
本当に夢中になっている姿は素晴らしかったです!!
監督であるひさしさんはよく、「本当にお互いの声をよく聞いていれば、面白い化学反応が起こる」と言っています。

Now, I'm pretty sure you are all excited to see our great chemistry!!
Well, more than anybody, I am!!!!
Every moment is a new discovery for me, and I believe it's the same for other members too!

さてさて、みなさんそろそろ私たちの最高の化学反応を見たくなってきたんじゃないですか！？
何を隠そう、誰よりも私が見たいと思ってます！！！！
一瞬一瞬にいつも新しい発見があります。他のメンバーにとってもそれは同じだと思います。

We finally started MP13 on Feb 21st!
MP 13 is consists of 98 people!!!

ついに！２月２１日、MP13がスタート！
９８人のメンバーがあつまりました！！！

I had been dying to see members on kick off day!
I'm very happy to see everyone.
Let's enjoy every Rehearsal!

キックオフの日をどれほど待ち望んだことか、
みんなに会えて幸せです、
レッツエンジョイ！一瞬一瞬を大切に、２ヵ月がんばってゆきます！

Now, we are in the middle of Joint Rhearsal(JRH)!
JRH is the rehearsal which every section do same workshop together.
It's the most important span in MP!


今週はジョイントリハーサルの真っ最中です！
ジョイントリハーサルとは、全部のセクションが関係なく一緒にワークショップを行います、
MPの中でもとーっても大切な時間なのです！

We learn Talk&Listen and try to get to know each other.
We already practiced three songs in this 4 days.
Every song is so sweeeeeeeeeetlol
I cannot wait singing these songs on the stage on performance day!

今はTalk & Listenを学んでいます、それからみんなと仲良くなる活動とか！
この４回のリハーサルで、もうすでに３曲の歌を覚えました！
ぜんぶ、甘い！甘い！あまーーーーーい！（笑）
公演で歌える日が待ち遠しいです！
