I want to talk many things! About our work, "what we did" and "what we learned today," and so on. Let me explain you all about what sound section is. But today, I'll explain 2 things about my discoveries or my gifts. I guess you'll get tired of reading the whole article. Don't worry! Mine's gonna be SHORT and SWEET. LOL
本当はいっぱい話したいことがあります。私たちの仕事だったり、今日やったこと、学んだこととかね。みなさんに私たちのことを知ってほしいんです。でも、新たな発見やギフトに関する2つのことに絞りました。たぶん、いっぱい書いてあると全部読むのが疲れちゃいますよね。でもそんなに心配しないで！私の記事は短くて素敵なものになりますから笑
Firstly, I have a question to you!
Have you ever heard the sound of dirty water flowing under a manhole?
I heard that sound for the first time a couple of days ago. I've never paid any attention to the sound around us, so I usually put earphones and listen to music on my way to home. However I tried to listen carefully to the sound in everyday's life because our chief Mittsu said "Please take care of the every sound in our life." I didn't expect that sound of dirty water flowing is heard. It was a big discovery for me.
まず、みなさんに質問です。あなたはマンホールの下の水が流れる音を聞いたことがありますか？私は数日前にその音を始めて聞いたんです。今まで私たちの身の回りにある音なんて気にしたことがなくて、普段はイヤホンをつけて音楽を聴いて帰っています。でも、私たちのチーフであるみっつが「身の回りにあるどんな音でも注意して聴いてみてね」とアドバイスをくれたので、私は色々な音に耳を澄ませながら帰りました。まさか下水道の音が聞こえるとは思いませんでした。それは大きな発見でした。
Our job is thinking and putting SE (sound effect) and ME (music effect) in the play, then operate the machine basically. So it's very important to pay attention to the sound in our life for us to make our musical more real. We, sound section members, try hard to make a GREAT stage.
私たちの仕事は基本的には効果音のようなSE(サウンドエフェクト)やME(ミュージックエフェクト)をどの場面で使うか考えたり、実際に機械を操作して劇に音をつけることです。私たちにとって身の回りの音に気をかけることは劇をよりリアルにするのにとても大事なのです。
Secondary, let me talk about our today's activity.
We had Tatsu as a sound section's chief instead of Mittsu. He told us the way of reading script. It was a different way from we did. But he gave us a new view of reading it. That is, we should think about what kind of meaning or role each scene has in the entire story. I didn't think in this way, even more than a week has passed after I got the script. This was my discovery and gift. And it's effective to think the role of each scene when we want to understand this story deeply.
次に今日の活動について話させてください。
今日はみっつの代わりにたつがサウンドセクションのチーフとして来てくれたんです。たつは台本の読み方を教えてくれました。それは私たちが今までやってた方法とは違くて、新たな視点から台本を見ることができました。各シーンがストーリー全体の中でどのような意味、役割があるのかを考えるものでした。台本をもらってから一週間以上経つけれど、こういう風に考えたことありませんでした。今日のは発見でもありギフトでもあります。各シーンの役割を考えることは、ストーリーを深く理解するのにとても役に立つと思います。

I never thought of that.
マンホールのしたなんて
考えたこともなかったです。
If I listen to sounds around me,
I can hear PCs motor,wind,parents sleeping,,,
Many sounds can be heard.
そう思えば、意識すると
PCのモーター、風、家族のいびき
いろんな音が聞こえてきますね。
