Never try to “BE”, but BE yourself.

This is Sachy. I am one of the CAST members. Today I will be writing this blog!

On the performance day, I believe you are going to see me as Blanche, an aunt, on the stage, and I would like to meet you ALL at SHIKI!

From the KICK OFF DAY, I have experienced a wonderful journey I have never expected when I jumped in the morning circle on the KICK OFF and shared my hopes in MP13 which is to ENJOY and CHERISH all the moments with the MP members. I really LOVE ALL MPers. It always makes me feel sorrow whenever I imagine the days after the performance in May. So, these days my greatest HOPE is to FULFILL every each single moment I spend in MP. Feel EVERY moment. Never miss any single feeling I feel during the practice, because I believe that all of them are the signs that I am living at that moment.

I do sound positive, easy-going person, don’t I? lol

Well, it was not always like this during my last months with MP. I have gone through having to figure out so many REASONS to why I was put in certain situations. First of all, my journey began from understanding the concept of “accept”. Like many other members, I also felt the same feelings that it is difficult, but in a way that I had to understand myself and accept it. My role as Blanche was a tough start to begin my new journey as a cast for I had no clue whatsoever how Blanche made her minds. I first thought that my lack of experiences in life would weak my role as a Blanche. Even now I still think so. I couldn’t understand my lines and didn’t know what to react to them.

However, one advice I received from the members changed my attitude. It was that “Why don’t you use your true feelings you have inside you today and use them with the lines you are given?” This advice meant that using your real feelings you feel, for example if you are really tired right now use it!!!, in order to have your own character live. This means that every time you do that part, it changes for you would have a different kind of feelings inside you. It is true that every character is living. I learned the importance not to “pretend” and to be “true to yourself!” I believe you have heard the phrase it over many times in this blog LOL, but it is true. Trying to be someone else would be no good in acting. Same thing I believe we can say in real life. Never try to “BE”, but BE yourself. This is one thing I had the chance to think about during the over last days. Okay, sooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Tmr would be our TECHNICAL REHERSAL!!! Which means we are going to use the actual stage for our performance in SHIKI!!! I would like to say that without STAFF, I would NEVER EVER had the chance to stand on the stage feeling this way. Let’s us all gather our power and make OUR JUNE NIGHT!!!

meaning of "word"

Hello, I'm Shoko. I join MP13 as cast. Nice to meet you. 
こんにちは、翔子です。私はキャストとして今回のMP13に参加しています。よろしくお願いします。

I have never image I could stand on the stage as one of the MP member when I was high school student. So today, I want to talk about importance of word. 

高校生の時は自分がMPのメンバーとして舞台に立つことができるなんて想像していませんでした。 さて、今日は言葉の重要性について話したいです。

Today, we practiced reading Rh, which we just read and speak script without body acting. During practice, we were pointed out many times our mistake such as mistake of pronunciation or expression of emotion. 

今日は台本の読み合わせを身体の動きを使うことなく練習しました。 練習の間、私たちは何度も発音の間違いや感情表現を指摘されます。

Compared with first RH, it absolutely improved. 
On the other hand, as we get used speaking line and we forgot this is "word",which is tool of communication. 

最初の頃のランスルーから比べると確実によくなっています、しかし一方で私達は台詞を言うことに慣れたがためにそれが言葉というコミュニケーションのツールであることを忘れてしまうことがあります。

Hisashi often says "I can't understand what you said." Because we just speak just empty line, it is not word. We could pay attention to meaning of word or pronunciation at first. But now, this attitude to word is decreasing. 

ひさしはよく「君たちが何を言ってるかわからない。」と言います、なぜなら私達が喋っているのはただの空っぽの「台詞」、言葉ではないからです。私達は最初の頃は言葉の意味や発音に気をつけていました。だけど今はこの言葉に対する姿勢が薄くなっているような気がします。

We have to do a lot of things, such as dance, singing and acting. But today I realized we have to return to the talk and listen. We have to say line clearly to talk to audience and to can be listened by audience. 

私達はダンスに歌に演技、やることがたくさんあります。だけど私は今日、もう一度talk and listenの原点に私達は変えるべきなんじゃないかと思いました。私達は台詞をきちんと言わなければならないのは観客とtalkしてちゃんた彼らにlistenしてもらうためです。

No more regret

Hi! This is Shiny, one of the Cast members! 
I’m Frances Night in June Night. I’m really happy to join MP13 again. Yes, I joined in MP12 as a Ma&C! 1 month later, the last performance day has come. Can’t believe it!! 

どうも！Shinyです！キャストやってます。June NightではFrances Nightです。 MP13にまた参加することができてすごく嬉しいです。そう、私MP12ではメイコスとして参加していたんです♪ ちょうど一ヶ月後には千秋楽を向かえているなんて！信じられない！


Today is 3rd RT and also, this is the first time for us to do RT on the stage. usually, we use normal room, so this is really good opportunity for us to get used to be on the stage. Acting on the stage is very difficult. Sometimes we were complicated lol. We must get used to feel setting when we act, although there isn’t anything. In addition, we cannot do more than best I felt. Even if we practiced yesterday, we cannot do in RT as a same. We have so many things to do! I want to do more! I can do more! Uuuumm…..difficult!! but interesting!! 
At last, finally we can get fliers and tickets!! They are really good. I can't complain. lol 

今日は3回目の通し稽古でした。そして、今日はステージの上で通しをやることができたんです。いつもは普通の部屋を使っているのでこれは私たちにとって本番の舞台に慣れるためのいい機会です。ステージ上で行うことはすごくむずかしくて、混乱したりもしました(笑)たとえば、セットがなくてもあるように感じるのになれなきゃいけない、とか。今日はみんな思い通りにできなかった気がします。昨日やったことでさえ同じようにやることはできませんでした。あー！まだまだやることがたくさん！もっとやりたい！もっとできる！うーーーーー難しい！でも楽しい！
最後には、ついに、フライヤーとチケットがもらえたんです！！ もうこれがまたすんばらしくて。文句のつけようがないくらい(笑)


By the way, I want to talk about… my recent? lol The reason why I join MP13 is that there was some regret in MP12. I want to join and enjoy every moment from bottom of heart. Struggle also I want to enjoy.
No more regret…that is my one of the aim in MP13. However, I already felt so many regrets! My god!! At that time I don’t know what should I do, what do I have to do. There is nothing which I feel “what I want to do”. This is the first time for me that I get this kind of struggle. It’s really hard and painful. I lost the way. So many times I was cried. I felt I can't help regretting. I can't find the answer. 

ところで、、、ちょっと私の近況について話してもいいですか。 私がMP13に参加した理由は12の時に後悔が残ってしまったから。参加して心の底から楽しみたい。苦しいことだってそれ自身を楽しみたい。もう後悔はしない…これは私のMP13の目標のひとつです。でも、もうすでにいくつかそ後悔しちゃってるんですよね。うえー。その時、何をすべきか何をしなきゃいけないのかわかりませんでした。見てわかる通り、この時私は一瞬だって"何をしたいか"なんて考えなかったんです。今回の苦しみが今まで体験したことのないものだったからなって後悔もしてしまって。答えが見つかりませんでした。

However suddenly, the answer appeared. It came really easily, so I was really surprised. But also I mustn’t miss this opportunity. I just try my answer right after I got. Now it’s on the way, but getting better I think. I feel no more regret, no more sad. I really appreciate the parson who gave me the answer. Also, there are so many ppl who helped me. That’s wonderful! That’s why I love MP and cannot quit MP! XD 
MP is the place which is full of LOVE. 

でもいきなり、答えが見つかったんです。簡単に現れたからすごくビックリしました。でもこの答えを逃すまいと、見つけてすぐに試しました。まだ途中ですけどよくなってきています。もう後悔もしなくなったし、悲しくもないです。だから、答えをくれた人にすごく感謝しているんです。他にも、たくさんのMPerが助けてくれました。すばらしくないですか！だからMPが大好きでやめられないです！MPは愛に溢れてるんです。

From now, I want to try to help and love all of MPer as much as I can. I try more than best. This is the only way I can repay their favor. Our director Hisashi always said this words "help each other." Is there the place which we can help each other so easily? I think we cannot do so easily. But I try harder. That makes me grow up. I never waste the time anymore. For me, MP13 is the last memory for my school life. Really. So I want to make it great. Not good. Great. 

今度は私がみんなを助けようと、愛そうと思います。できるだけたくさん。頑張ります。これが彼らにできる唯一の恩返しだと思うから。私たちのディレクターひさしはよく言うんです、"助け合いなさい"と。こんなに簡単に互いを助け合える場所が他にあるのでしょうか。簡単なことではないかもしれないけど私は頑張りたいです。成長するためにも。もうどの瞬間もムダにしたくない！だってね、MP13は私にとって学生時代最後の思い出だから。本当に。だから絶対にthe great stageを作りたい。良いって意味じゃなくて。素晴らしいって意味ね。


About 1 month later you can see wonderful chemical explosion.

Live the moment

Hi! I'm Sammy. My section is cast. My role is Rhoda! plz keep it lol
こんにちは！Sammyです！キャストの1人です！私はRhoda役です！覚えててくださいww

We done 2nd run through! I thought we acted more naturally than the 1st run through. That was very nice!

２回目となる通し練を行いました！１回目よりだいぶ自然に演じれたのでは…っておもいました。良かった♪良かった♪

When we do run through, it always makes me know a bit more about Rhoda's feeling. Knowing how they feel naturally is very important thing i think. It's not easy though… 

通し練をするとRhodaの気持ちが少しだけど分かるような気がします。自然に気持ちを分かることはすごく大切なことだと思います。簡単じゃないけど…

Don't act how she feels but be herself. Then it'll make us to say my line and make me act naturally… so this is "live the moment"! 

ただ台本から感じる感情を出すんじゃなくて、役本人になってみる！そうすると自然と台詞も出てきて動きもついてくる…これが『今を生きる』ってことです！

But the problem is, as i said, this is soooo difficult. We can't prepare because it won't be like we are living in this story. But we should think of our reason of our oun movement. Coz we always have reasons to move.

ただ問題はめっちゃ難しいってこと。準備をしてしまえば物語内で生きてる感じは出ません。かといって１つひとつの行動には理由があります。だから理由を考えなければ行けません…

Think about those reasons outside of our Rh, try in many ways and choose natural one… then when we tried it on Rh but, sometimes we feel it's weird! Now, all casts are struggling! 

Rh以外の時間にも理由を考えて、シーン練で試してみて自然なものを決めて…でもって通し練でやってみると違う！って思ったりするんですよねw みんな葛藤中です笑

But i LOVE this struggle! So fun! 
Coz we can live another life of mine on the stage!! 

でもこの葛藤好きです！楽しい！もう一人の自分をステージで生かせるんだって思うと…

I'll try hard at Rh! So that i could live all moment in the world of june night! 

Rh頑張ってきます！june nightの世界を一瞬も逃さないように生きれるように！

precious moment

Hi! This is MAX, I’m a member of Cast. Nice to meet you!
I’m so surprised that one month and a half have passed from the kick off day!
Time goes so fast!! So I will try to enjoy every time more and more and more!

どうも！キャストをやってるMAXです。
MP13のキックオフ日からもう1か月半立ってるなんて驚きです！
時が過ぎていくのがはやい！だからMPで過ごすこの時間をもっともっともーーーっと楽しみたいと思います！

Today, we had rehearsal in afternoon, but Cast had the first extra rehearsal in the morning!
FIRST!! There are few people, only cast, and I felt little sad, we learned the importance of Timing from Hisashi.
When we have some pause, or don’t stop talking, that has an big effect on the whole stage!! 

今日はリハは午後からだったんですが、私たちキャストは午前中に初のエクストラリハーサルを行いました！初です！！ キャストだけだったので人数が少なくて少しさみしかったんですけど、Hisashiからタイミングの重要性を学ぶことができました。すこし間をあけたり、止まらずに話したり,タイミングをすこし変えるだけでシーンがすごい面白くなるんです！！

In the afternoon, we had scene practices, dance practices and interesting practice!
We practiced same scene in different ways, with Kansai-Ben, like Opera, like Enka and so on! Then we can see many aspects of others which we had never seen before! And everyone’s actions changed and it’s so interested!! 
Change the timing, change the action, we can make completely different stage! I think it is “chemical reaction” as Hisashi said. 

午後のリハでは普通のシーン練習やダンスの練習の他に面白い練習をしました。
関西弁やオペラ風、演歌っぽくなど、同じシーンを様々なやり方で練習してみたんです！
すると今までは見えてなかったほかの人の面白い面がたくさん出てきて、それに影響されてみんなの動きが変わってすごい楽しかった！！
タイミングを変えたり、少し動きが変わるだけで、全然違う舞台が出来てくるんです。これがHISASHIの言っている「化学反応」なのかなと感じました:D


We started to work separated, so there are few opportunities that everyone gather. Therefore I try to enjoy the time we can gather!
And I wanna make sooooooooooooo great stage with MP13 Family!!

March Night

First appearance on this blog, I’m Marina, the Madonna of MP13, who is a cast and an AD. I completely don’t know why everyone calls me so, which means I’m elder than the others?!

初登場ヘッズメンバー 演出補佐兼キャスト、MP13の姐さんことMarinaです。今年はどういうわけか「姐さん」ポジションにいるようです。なぜだろうね～、老けた？

MPer’s spent so productive time like thick soup of dipping noodle. Day by day, we’ve approached the GRATE STAGE, MP13!!!!! That’s exactly “Time flies.” Well, it’s passed much faster than it’s expected. Somehow, every day can be different from the previous day. I’m sure that MPer’s exactly grown up little by little. Their sparkly talent blossoms as flowers in animated, though we’d never seen before. How marvelous it is.

MPerはつけ麺の汁が如く濃厚な毎日を過ごしています。一日一日とグレートステージに近づいていくMP13!!!!!光陰矢の如し、っつってね。それはもうすごい早さで日々が過ぎていくのです。でも今日は昨日となにかが違う、じわじわと、でも確実にわれらMPerは成長しているのです。昨日までは見られなかった眩しいくらいの個性が今日になると花開いてる、いやぁ、素晴らしい。

We are heading to the “the Grate stage.” I can’t help thinking that I’m falling love with MP!! How beautiful we are, I mean almost 100 young guys are heading to the same goal.

そんなひとりひとりの物語が、「グレートステージ」に集約されていく。私ね、これだからMPやめらんないな！！って思うのです。約100人の若者みんなが同じベクトルに向かう、なんて美しいのさ。

Look around and, because of poor enthusiasm, you’ll see tons of stories which had been over before the end. We are not allowed in MP. 
LOVE&ACCEPT and you’ll be loved and be accepted.

世の中を見て御覧よ、同じベクトルに向かうことが出来ずに壊れてしまう物語がどんだけあるか。MPではそれじゃだめなのよ、愛して、受け入れる。そして愛されて、受け入れられる。“Love & Accept” and “to be loved & to be accepted”

Nobody looks down at and abandon your effort. 

We do help you when you struggle, 

We do look upon you when you conflict with yourselves, 

We do hold you when you are eager to achieve the aim, 

We do present what you need to you.

あなたの努力を嘲ることもないし、見捨てることもしない

You see, it’s like FAMILY, isn't it? But, at the same time, I believe MP is also the place which anyone can grow from the immature to the mature one more time. That’s why one of the MP spirit is JUMP IN, I guess.

なーんてね、まるで温かい家族のようじゃない？ そんな例えを使ってみたけど、MPはきっともう一度子供から大人に成長できる場だと思っているのです。だからこそのMP精神：ジャンプイン なのかもね。

Last year, as one of the Ma&C member. At midnight.

Ups, by the way, at the last cheer, though I went to the center of the circle cause only teenagers could go there, I was refused. Actually I’m gonna be 23 in a year. "Humph!"

そういえば、今日の最後のサークルでチアの合図を出す人の条件がティーンエージャーだったので絶対大丈夫だと思ってためらうことなく混ざったんだけど、はじき出されました。たぶん今年で23になるからだと思います。

MP as "home"

Hi! I'm Ieaki. I'm a member of Cast. Recently, I can't believe how quickly the time goes! We have only one month by the performance day. There are so many things to do for all members. I wanna try what I can do diligently.

やあみんな！！キャストのいえあきです！！最近は信じられないくらい時間が経つのが早くて、本番まで残り1ヶ月というところまできました。まだまだやることがいっぱいあるけど、俺は自分ができることをコツコツとやっていきたいです。

Today, in the morning, cast member did Hisashi's workshop. We paired up, and then stood back to back and closed eyes. After three counts with walking, we turned around and opened eyes, and said what you thought about partner. It looks easy one, but it is really difficult. "No preparation, to be honest" Hisashi said. He asked us to say just what you feel when you look your partner. We should not put any assumption. No preparation and to be honest are difficult and challenge but they are same things as our daily life.

今日のリハの午前中で、キャストはディレクターであるひさしのワークショップをしました。二人一組になり、背中合わせに立ち、目を閉じます。3カウントにあわせて歩き、目を開け振り返り、パートナーについて思ったことを言うというものです。一見簡単に見えますが、これはとても難しいものです。ひさしは"準備は一切いらない。正直になれ。"と言いました。ただ振り返ったときに思ったことを正直に言うようにいいました。ここで、どんな思い込みも頭の中に入れてはいけないということです。準備なしでいること、正直になることは難しくてチャレンジなことですが、これらは私たちの生活と全く同じことです。

Through RH, I noticed one thing. Two weeks ago, I got flu, so I absented three RH because of it. I had to catch up, so I called some members and asked what you did everyday. It was really hard to catch up everything of three RH but I tried to continue asking, as a result, maybe I could catch up all. I realized how precious and important one RH was. Even if I absent only one RH, it means that I miss so many things. To work on staying healthy is so basic thing but important.

リハを通して、気づいたことがあります。2週間前、自分はインフルエンザにかかってしまいました。そのせいで、3回のリハを休まなくてはなりませんでした。休んだ分を聞かなくてはならなかったので、何人かのメンバーに毎日電話をしたりして、今日なにをしたかなど聞いていました。3回の全てを理解するのはとても難しいことでしたが、それでも諦めずに聞き続けました。結果的に、自分でも全てのキャッチアップをできたと思っています。ここで、自分は1回のリハがどれだけ貴重で大切なものか気づくことができました。たった1回のリハを休むだけでも、多くのことを見逃したことになります。健康維持は基本的なことですが、大切なことです。


When I recovered from flu, so many people said "Welcome back" in person or on twitter and I could say "I'm back." I was so glad, and also I felt "home" I thought that relationship that we can say "Welcome back" and "I'm back" each other means "home" I like such relationship and recognized our relationship is much better than beginning.

インフルエンザから回復したあと、多くの人が"おかえり！"と直接言ってくれたりTwitterで言ってくれました。そして、自分もまた"ただいま"と言うことができました。そのことがすごく嬉しくて、"home"を感じることができました。自分は、"ただいま"と"おかえり"が言える関係って"home"を意味すると思っています。そんな関係が好きだし、みんなの関係が最初のときよりずっと良くなってるって気づけました。


And here, I wanna say my favorite proverb. That is "Don't forget the enthusiasm you had at the beginning"
Do you remember yourself at the beginning? I always try not to forget what I want to do or be at the beginning and the reason I joined MP. We have a tendency to forget our first feelings. Let's back to your beginning and think about it!! And also, I'll try not to forget to enjoy!!!!!!! Thanks to such thinking, I enjoy now sooooooooo much!!!!!! Everyone, let's enjoy more!!!!!

そしてここで、自分の好きなことわざを言いたいと思います。それは"初心忘れるべからず"です。みなさんは、最初のころの自分を覚えていますか？？自分はいつも、最初のころ自分がなにをしたかったのか、自分がどうあったのか、なぜMPに参加したのかを忘れないようにしています。私たちはみな、全てにおいて、最初のころの気持ちを忘れがちです。一度原点に戻って、考えてみましょう！そして、また自分は楽しむことを忘れないようにしています。そう意識しているおかげで、今もめちゃくちゃ楽しめています！！！ ！！！！！もーーーっと楽しみましょう！！

I`ll write what I think in this blog a little.

こんにちわゴリです。MP１３のCastです。
今思うことを少しこの場を借りて少し述べたいと思います。

We've done a lot of activities and cooperated for making one great stage. Now is also. We are using our heads and practicing. There are many activities I can't understand even if I'm a Mper.
While we do some activity, we will bump against a wall.

我々MPメンバーは一つのステージを力を合わせて作るべく日夜様々な活動をおこなっております。まさに今もです。今もどこかで我々は知恵を振り絞り、練習を積んでいます。その内容は内部の僕ですら把握できないものまで様々です。その活動を行っていくうえで僕らは壁にぶつかります。

The wall is sometime big. Maybe there is the time I would like to escape. But the higher the wall is, the more precious thing we can get. How many people can believe such common ideas?

その壁は時に強大で、背を向けて逃げだしたくなる時もあるかもしれません。しかし壁が強大であればあるほどそれを乗り越えた先にあるものは得難いものであるに違いありません。
ありがちな理屈ですがこれを本気で信じることのできる人はこの世にどれくらいいるのでしょうか？

It is rare person who can believe that and keep challenging against the wall. Almost of people will give up or compromise.

信じて挑み続けることができる人は世の中でそうはいません。ほとんどが弱気になりあきらめてしまったり、まあいいやと妥協したりしてしまうのではないでしょうか。

WE DO NOT HAVE ANY COMPROMISE. Why? Because we all aim to make great stage. We definitely make a great stage we can show our effort. Then what I should do is just advancing toward a great stage. As long as we have a clear purpose, we couldn't stop.

我々にそのような妥協は一切ありません。なぜか？全員が最高のステージを作るという一つの目標に向かって動いているからです。私たちにはステージという日々の努力を発揮できる機会、場が約束されています。ならばもうそこに向かって突き進むだけ。この明確な目標がある限り僕たちは歩みを止めることはないでしょう。

Thanks for members, we can struggle, believe, especially enjoy!! MP let me feel sucha natural but really precious feeling. Action is different but purpose is the same. Thaｔ's all. Only this things make me feel a united sense, trust, and comfortable.

仲間がいるからこそ立ち向かうことができる。信じることができる。何より楽しむことができる。そんな当たり前だけど、本当に貴重なことをMPはひしひしと私に実感させてくれます。やることは違えど目的は同じ。たったそれだけ。それだけでこうも一体感、信頼、居心地の良さを感じることができるものなのかと。

At the performance day, we will make an audience feel the same things. Feel what we have done until the performance day, and then enjoy our stage, please. The moment may be the time our purpose come truth and the most meaningful time in MP13.

公演の日には見に来てくださった観客の方々にもそれらを感じてもらいたいです。我々のやってきたことを感じ取っていただいたうえで我々の作るステージをどうかお楽しみください。その瞬間こそ我々の目的が成就する瞬間であり、このMPで最も意味のある瞬間かもしれません。

Show must go on!

Hi! I'm Satoshi! A member of cast. Plese read until the end!
Firstly, I'm gonna tell you what we did in Today's rehearsal. As other member wrote, nowdays we divided into each section and work. So we couldn't see what each section did in rehearsal. But from last rehearsal, we started to have a time to share what each section did in the end of rehearsal.

どうも！サトシっていいます！MP13にはCastの一員として参加しています。今回は僕がブログ書きます！最後までお付き合いください！
まずは今日のリハでどんなことをやったかを書きますね。他のメンバーが書いてくれてる通り、最近は各セクションに分かれて活動しているので他のみんながどんなことをしているのかはわからないんです。でも、前回からリハの最後に各セクションが何をやったのかをシェアする時間が設けられました！素晴らしい決定です！

According to this, Make up&Costume read script and shared design of some character's costume. AND! they'll announce costume making partner of each cast soon! Yeah!

それによると、メイコスのみんなはスクリプト（台本）を読んで何人かのキャラクターのコスチュームのデザインをシェアしたみたいです。更に！近々、誰がどのキャラクターの衣装作りを担当するかが発表されるらしいですよ！イェア！楽しみですね！

Live musicians spent time to read and understood script. And thought about meaning of lylics with lisning songs. PLUS! from next rehearsal, they'll go studio to practice playing music! Wow!

ライブミュージシャンのみんなはスクリプトを読んでわからないところを話し合ったり、劇中で使う曲を聴きながら歌詞の意味を考えたりしたそうです。更に！次回から彼らはスタジオに入って演奏の練習を始めるらしいです！Wow！どんな演奏になるんでしょうね！

Sound section did the sharing the gift (the good things or stuff that they found from each day). After that, they shared what they discovered by reading script and unclear point of script!

サウンドのみんなはgift（それぞれが日ごとに見つけた嬉しいもの、嬉しいこと）のシェアを行った後、スクリプトを読んで発見したこと、スクリプトでよくわからないことのシェアを行ったそうです！

Lighting section read scipt and discussed about it. Especially, character's personality and character's feeling in each scene.

ライティングのみんなはスクリプトを読んでいろいろなことを話し合ったそうです。特にキャラクターの内面とかシーン毎のキャラクターの感情とかを深く話し合ったみたいですよ！

Setting & Property invited Kenken who was S&P chief of MP and practiced stage painting! They showed us painting they made. Every painting was soooo great!

セップロのみんなはMPのOBであり、セップロのチーフを務めたケンケンを迎えてステージ・ペインティングの練習を行ったそうです！シェアの時にセップロメンバーの作ったペインティングを見せてくれました！どれも、すごく綺麗でしたよ！

About Cast. We did Talk&Listen and then every cast did scene practice individually. This was first time we did Talk&Listen the last scene. I think I told everything about Today's rehearsal roughly.

で、キャストはというと、トーク＆リッスンをして、その後各々に分かれてシーン毎の練習を行いました。最後のシーンのトーク＆リッスンをやったのは今日が初めてでしたね。リハーサルについては大まかにですがお伝えし終わったと思います。

So from here, I'll write two important things that our directer Hisashi said in today's rehearsal and what I'm thinking.
Hisashi told us "Don't judge from cover" and "Life is hard but also rewarded".
The first one means we shouldn't judge other people with your prejudice or first impression. You can't judge the book whether it's good or bad with just looking it's cover. Human being is same as it.

リハーサルについては話し終わったので、ここからは僕らのディレクターである山内久さんが今日のリハーサルで話してくださった２つの重要なこと、そして僕が考えていることについて書きたいと思います。久さんは「外見だけで判断するな」、「人生はつらいがそれだけの価値がある」ということを話してくださいました。一つめの方は、先入観や最初の印象だけで他人を判断してはならない、という内容でした。本の表紙を見ただけじゃ、その本の内容はわかりませんよね。人間もそれと同じ、ということです。

About the second thing, firstly, he said just "Life is hard". Because in our life, hard things happen one after another and we must deal with them. After that, he told us "but when you get over the hard thing, you must be grown up. Problem makes you more attractive". "If the person doesn't have any problem, he or she is not an attractive, interesting person. How to deal with problem is the life". Then he said "Life is hard but also rewarded". I'm sorry! I don't think I could write what he wants to tell us completely because these sentences are based on my notes and memory.
Anyway, his talking was really impressing. Especially, the second thing. Because it was similar to what I'm thinking!

二つめの方に関して、久さんは最初、"Life is hard" とだけおっしゃいました。人生においてつらいこと、困難なことは次々と起こり、僕らはそれを克服していかなければならないから。その後に彼は「困難を克服した時、君たちは確実に成長する。課題や問題が君たちをより魅力的な人間にする。」「もし、何の問題も抱えていない人がいるならば、その人はおもしろくも魅力的でもない。問題とどう向き合っていくかこそが人生なんだ。」と話し、"Life is hard but also rewarded"とおっしゃいました。この文章は僕のメモと記憶に基づくものなので彼の言わんとすることを完全に伝えられたとは思えません。僕が彼の意味するところをきちんと理解できていないかもしれませんしね。申し訳ないです！
とにかく、彼の話したこと、特に二つめの内容は印象的でした。なぜなら僕の考えていることに似ていたから！

"Show must go on." Do you know this phrase? The meaning is once the show start, no matter what happens, we must continue the show. I like this. Because I think this phrase can apply to our life.
There's no time out or "Take 2" in life. When hard or sad thing happens, no matter how we spend time to worry or complain, time doesn't wait and problem is left unless we try to solve it. If so, it's better to use the time to get over problems instead of worry or complain. Plus, if we feel soooo hard or sad at that time, after problem is solved, it'll be a reminiscence or... kind a funny story.
I think this way so I wanna "enjoy every moment!" I mean I wanna enjoy even hard or sad time. It also will be my precious memory, precious experience. I guess every people who join MP including me will have their own problem. It might be very hard problem but in such situation, I wanna ENJOY! I hope my message will reach you and I also hope you'll enjoy your life! 

"Show must go on"って知ってますか？一度始まったショーは何が起きても続けなきゃいけないって意味なんですが、僕はこの言葉が好きなんです。人生でも同じことが言えると思うから。人生にはタイムアウトとかテイク２なんてないですよね。辛いことや悲しいことが起こって、どんなに僕らが悩んだり不満を言ったりしても、時間は刻々と過ぎていくし、問題は解決しません。それだったらその悩んだりする時間を問題を解決するための行動に使う方が絶対いいですよね。それに、その当時はどんっなに辛かったり、悲しかったりしても、問題が解決すればその経験は思い出話かもしくは笑い話にできるんだし。
だから僕は全ての瞬間を楽しみたいんです！辛い時や悲しい時も含めて！その辛かった時や悲しかった時もまた、大切な思い出、大切な経験になるんだから。僕を含め、MPに参加している全ての人はこれからそれぞれの課題に直面すると思います。その課題はとても厳しいものになるかも知れないけど、そんな時こそ、ENJOY!したいと思います!
このメッセージが届くことを願って終わりとさせて頂きます。

Difficulty of sending signal

Today, we figured out that there are three important messages in "June Night".
First, what is marriage? 
Second, what is love? 
And the last, "what is learning?"
These messages are very important because these are what put us together as one. We want the audience to think about what marriage is, what love is, and what learning is, by making a society of June Night. Everything is aimed for that.

今日、"June Night"における３つの大切なメッセージを知りました。１つ目は、結婚とはなにか、２つ目は、愛とはなにか、３つめは、学ぶとはどういうことか。このメッセージは本当に大切なものです。なんでかっていうとこのメッセージがみんなをひとつにするからです。私たちは、観客に"June Night"を見て、愛について、結婚について、学ぶことについてほしい。全てのことをそのために行います。

I think these are such a wonderful message, but here is the question. Can the audience really get touched by those messages in their heart? Today, I, Masa, from cast section, is going to write how difficult sending signal is.

これは本当に素晴らしいメッセージだと思います。けれども果たして、このメッセージは観客の心に届くのでしょうか？ 今日はキャストセクションのMasaが伝えることの難しさについて、自分が感じていることを書かせていただきます。

Here is a profound question, "what's the meaning of making stage?" There are various attractive points about stage. And I think making stage and watching stage has different attractiveness. However, the stage without the audience and the audience without performers means nothing. It's like a conversation. Each factors are crucial. It is impossible to have a conversation by yourself.

いきなり、深い質問になりますが、みなさんは公演を行う意味ってなんだと思いますか。舞台には本当に様々な魅力があります。そして、僕は舞台をつくる側にとっての魅力と観る側にとっての魅力は違ったものであると思います。けれども、舞台というのは当たり前ですがつくる側、みる側、どちらか一方が欠けたら成立しません。まるで会話のようなものです。会話というのは一人で行うことはできません。

We are now experiencing all the great points of making a stage. Especially in MP, every single one of the member are experiencing them. The other members have already written about those points.
Then, how about the audience? What attracts the audience about the stage? Why does the audience come a long way to Saitama, pay money, make time, and watch our performance? What does it mean to the audience? 

つくる側の魅力は僕達は今現在進行形で体験していることでしょう。MPでは特にこのつくる側の魅力を全ての人に体験させてくれます。他のメンバーもたくさん、この魅力について書いてくれていますよね。
では、みる側の魅力はなんでしょうか。なぜ、観客はわざわざお金を払い、はるばる埼玉まで来て、時間をつくり、私たちの公演を見てくれるのでしょうか。観客にとって、公演を行う意味ってなんなんでしょうか。

Maybe the answers are depend on people. But I think people come to watch our performance to enjoy the world of "June Night", feeling something by watching it. In another way of saying it, what attracts the audience the most is getting into the world of "June night"

それは人によって違うかもしれません。けれども、僕は"June Night"という新しい世界を見て、何かを感じるために来てくれるのだと思っています。観てくれる人にとっての魅力は言い換えると"June Night"という新しい世界に入りこむことだと思うんです。

Therefore, the first question, "Can the audience really get touched by those messages in their heart?" can translated into the question,
"Can we invite the audience to the world of "June night?" 

つまり最初の質問の、「果たしてこのメッセージは観客の心に届くのでしょうか」という質問は「わたしたちは"June Night"という世界に観客を招くことができるだろうか」という意味でもあります。

We are creating the world of "June Night" spending almost 3 months. The audience is going to see this world in 2 hours of each performance. In this short two hours, EVERYTHING on the stage are going to send an information, "signal" to the audience. Movements and the lines of character, music, sound effects, costume, lighting, stage, literally everything. The audience will know the world of "June Night" which we will have spent almost 3 months and made by receiving those signals.

私たちは"June Night"という世界を3ヶ月という時間をかけて、研究します。深めます。その世界を観客は2時間という短い時間で味わいます。キャストの表情、動き、台詞、音楽、衣装、照明、舞台装置、短い時間の中で舞台上の全てのものが観客に、"June Night"という世界について、情報を、シグナルを発信します。こうしたシグナルを通して私たちが3ヶ月かけて作り上げた"June Night"が観客に届くわけです。

However, what's gonna happen if the audience could not receive the signal. Obviously they can not enjoy "June Night". They can not get into the play. And for us, it is harder to send signal, because our play is in English. This performance is in English spoken by Japanese. How difficult it is.

 けれども、もしそのシグナルが受け取ってもらえなかったら、理解してもらえなかったら、どうでしょうか。お客さんは当然"June Night"という世界を味わうことができません。そのシグナルを送る際に、とても厄介なことが私たちの舞台にはありますよね。それは私たちの舞台が「英語劇」であるということです。日本語の劇ですら、シグナルが正しく伝わらないことが多くあります。それを私たち日本人が英語で行う。どれほど難しいことでしょう。

But even though it is very difficult, there is a special meaning to perform in English. The performance in English can describe something that can not expressed through Japanese. So, I believe that when all the signal are understood by the audience, the performance will definitely touch the audience's heart. They will start thinking of "love", "marriage", and "learning". And even if it did not happen, something will remain in the heart of the audience. 

しかし、そうした難しさを考慮しても、英語劇というのは本当に魅力的なんです。日本語の劇では表現できないものが表現できると思うんです。だからこそ、全てのシグナルがお客さんに伝わったらきっと観客の心は絶対動きます。何かしら考えずにいられないと思います。愛について、結婚について、学ぶことについて。もし、これらのことを考えなくても、何かしら観客の心には残るでしょう。 

My goal in MP is "making a great stage". Great stage means, a stage which can invite the audience to the world of "June night". That is really difficult. Even one mistake can not be made because it will draw the audience's heart away from the world of "June Night". The heart of audience can be away so easily.

僕のMPでの目標は、「素晴らしい舞台をつくること」です。素晴らしい舞台とは、観客を"June Night"という世界に招き、入り込ませることができるような舞台です。本当にそれは難しいです。だって１つのミスもゆるされないのですから。１つのミスが、観客を現実の世界に戻してしまいます。たった1人の英語が伝わらなかっただけで、観客の心は簡単に離れてしまいます。

That's why I want to challenge all the MP13 members, including myself.
Do not take it easy about sending signal. The signal MUST be received by the audience. Just sending signal to the audience is not appropriate, it must be understood by the audience. In order to send such a signal, third person's perspective is essential.
Staff members, please help all the casts. Please always care if they are sending signal that can be understood by the audience.

だから、このような場ではありますが、自分を含めて改めてMP１３のみんなにチャレンジさせてください。絶対シグナルを送ることについて妥協しないでください。シグナルというのはお客さんにむけて発信するものです。自分が気持ちよく発信できればいい、というものではありません。第3者の目が不可欠です。スタッフのみなさん。どうかキャストを助けてください。正しくシグナルが発信できているかどうか、常に見ていてください。

I'm eager to make "great stage" with this members. I want to make the stage that leaves something in the heart of audience. I don't want this end with just a good memory. I want audience to feel something from bottom of their heart by watching this "June Night."

僕はみんなと本当に「素晴らしい舞台」をつくりたい。観客の心に残る何かをつくりたい。思い出だけで終わりたくない。この"June Night"から、何かが生まれて欲しい。

I'll be sophomore from this April and my section is cast. I have never done this kind of activity before but I'll do my best!!!

On 3/7, we heard the announcement of castings and we did "welcome party" after the rehearsal!

みなさんこんにちは！私はニーナです。

私は今年の４月から大学二年生になり、セクションはキャストです。私はこのような活動に参加するのは初めてですが、ベストを尽くしてがんばりたいと思います！！！

３月７日私達はキャスティングの発表を聞き、リハーサルの後にはパーティーをしました！

Through this party I think I could know better of the others, but it is not enough at all, so let's get to know each other more!!!

Our stage advisor,Hideo Ozeki came and gave a speech for us today.

From his speech, I recognized that the stage is made by the all section once again!

Every rehearsal day is so much fun and priceless for me!!

セクションはキャストです。今日から色んな人がブログを書いていきます。

The Winter Performance is over in Hosei University and three months passed.

I'm proud that I can join big stage called MP again.Do you get a tired? Please read till the last.

法政大学の冬公演が終わり三ヶ月が経ちましたが、MPという再び大きな舞台に携われることを誇りに思います。僕の文章は退屈ですか？最後まで読んでください。

Here, I want to talk about only what I obtained by Winter performance . I got various things …

After all the biggest thing is what I felt in everyday life, for example...from sleeping at night to getting up in the morning ,every moment is so important material for me.Yeah...

Do you get a tired? Please read till the last.

ここでは、冬公演で得たことを少しだけ話したいと思います。得たことは様々あるんですがねぇ…やはり1番大きいことは、毎日の生活、朝起きてから夜寝るまでの一瞬一瞬が貴重な材料だと感じたことです。文章がつまらないですか？最後まで読んでください。

It is not at all KIREIGOTO(Sorry...but I don't know the word) and is abstract expression, but is surely important for me. Even if, on the stage, I don't expect by myself, I cannot but be conscious of movement of all my action, situation, the expression of the partner…etc.

My sentences are dull. Please read only a little more.

決してキレイゴトではなく、抽象的な表現ではありますが、確かに僕にとって大事なことです。舞台の上では、自ら望んでなくても自分の全ての動作、行動、シチュエーション、相手の表情…などなど意識せざるを得なくなると思うんです。文章つまらないですね。もうちょっとだけ読んでください。

Then, things that help me are discovering in everyday daily life, and things helping oneself is how various then. And how do myself feel it when I discovered it,and receiving it obediently.

These things help me understand myself well and I can increase one's drawers.

Do you get a tired,right? it is over already soon.

その時、自分を助けてくれる物は、毎日の日常でどれだけ色んなことを発見しているということ。そして、発見した時に自分はどう感じているかということ。それを素直に受け入れているということ。などなどです…。とにかくそれら全てが自分を良く理解することを助け、自分の引き出しを増やしてくれるんだと思います。つまらないですかね、僕の文章？もうそろそろ終わりますから。

Therefore, every moment is important materials for me!

It is my one opinion. It is study every day. The truth.

Oh...It was good!! It is already over.

だから、毎日一瞬一瞬が貴重な材料だと言うわけです。僕の一意見ではありますが。毎日勉強です。本当。

良かったですね。もう終わりますよ。

Oops...we have only two months!

I think that it does not run out to learn.

I think that it is No limit to discover.

I will be careful with every moment.

As for the time, it is limited!

People may look me I am not the motivated man ,but I'm really the motivated man! and have a mind to do it every day.

I do my best by my slogan of "No Discover, No Rh" for a while.

早いですが、残り二ヶ月！学ぶことは尽きないと思ってます。発見することは限りないと思ってます。一瞬一瞬を大事にして行きましょう！時間は有限です！僕も毎日やる気ないようにみえてやる気マンマンです。しばらくは僕は「No Discover ,No Rh」のスローガンで勝手に頑張ります。
